wow, very nicely done Zefie. I rarely pay attention to doujins, but this peice
really caught my eye. i'm not much of an artist, but this looks really nice in
my opinion.
all of the shading seems to be correct, and i think you did achieve the effect
you were looking for with the eye. :] might i add that i love the background.
keep it up. ^^
+fav
as you may have noticed, i have been unable to keep up with the things going on
around here, but once i saw this it all started to come back to me. you may not
know this, but i am a HUGE abstract art kind of guy, and
this wall suits my liking very much. :] anyway, enough about me, on to the wall.
like i said earlier, this wall just looks great, is well executed and is full of
abstractness. i think the only thing that catches my eye, flaw wise, which brings
up other points because i believe it was done on purpose, are the straight
vector lines on kino. x.o {flaw is such a hard word, so i'm sorry i said it, but
i couldn't find a word that suited the sentence. ._.} they're mainly around her
cape, but like i said, i think they were done on purpose. well, if that made any
sense, i believe that was all i noticed about this wallpaper that
gave me an uneasy feeling, everything else looks great.
keep it up ephe and best of luck with the competition. ^^
i'll have to agree with misa; your vectors are coming along very nicely. makes
me want to vector agian.
i can't wait to see what you'll do with this one. ^^
let me just say that this is a wonderful play of colors and amazing looking
vectors. like i mentioned earlier, i thought this was all you being creative but
now i see it was the scan. your
background looks great though, and considering that it was all you, i must say
"amazing." ^^ not only does it complement the complexity of the
characters, it also suits the characters perfectly.
you knwo how i am with vectors but i must say this is flawless to me. like you
said way back before the start of war, this is all to improve and you sure did.
great job misa. ^^ +fav
wow misa. i'd just like to state that you really out did yourself on this one.
see, like i said while this was in the works, "it will al pay off,"
and boy did it ever. i never imagined anything like this would of surfaced as
you kept me in silence. anywho, i know, that you know, that i love linear art,
(<.<) and this is no exception. the beautifully detailed lines flow so
smoothly and elegantly. shows you just how beautiful a line can be. ^^ great
work misa!
+fav without a doubt
:O thank you for reminding me about chobits misa. i get
to beat my friend down now for keeping my series for well over a year now.
>]
anywho, i, who owns the series, hasn't seen it either. it's
odd but hell, who can refuse free anime? am i right?
how i love it when you vector. you
must hate me though. ._. but this turned out pretty good misa. ^^ i think the
only thing i would notice is her left had, seems a tad jaggy no?
i have no clue as to what the oher guy is going on about though. :| the
perspective is there, and i dont know who cant notice a girl lying on the floor
next to a screen of some sort. >>' but to everyone their own i suppose.
x.o
i can't wait to see the war entry fully done.
i thought i had commented on this LONG AGO when you first submitted it. im so
positive i did. ._.
everything came together so well in the end. the dark colors complement each
other well and don't clash. the background looks awesome. great use of stock
images and blending. the texture overlaping much of the wall gives me that
industrial/scientific feel and i think it suit the theme of the contest well.
great job kaki. keep it up. +fav ^^
lets just start off by saying that the background looks amazing in my opnion. im
an abstract freak and i love images like this. your planet and starfield turned
out great. same thing goes for the clouds. ^^
as for the andriod girl though, she doesn't quite fit into the wall and is a tad
bit too bright. >< this may just be me of course. [it always is]
you did a pretty good job bringing this wall together though. keep it up. ^^
wow, great job on this one. everything flows together so well and the colors
don't clash at all.
i remember watching this series, and i cant recall this scene. but if it's all
you, then you have one creative mind. ^^
my only complaint would have to be with the title. making it fit in more with
the rest of the wall would of sealed the deal.
i can see why it was a highlight. congrats and keep up the good work. +fav ^^
pretty good for it being your second vector. im a tad bit picky with vestoras as
thoes who know me well might know, but i'd still like to point out a few things. ><
for starters, the name of the wall. is it meant to be spelled that way, or would
that happen to be a typo?
the colors look really vivid and flow smoothly, but i guess the only thing i
would change would be the outlines. due to the whole linearism ideal that's
currently stuck in my head, i can only see outlines as dark colors, but the idea
of making the line a blurred version of the color can work here. it's just that
everything stands out so well, yet the outlines are blurred away. it's either
that or my vision is going. @_@
finally, the title once again. i feel it stands out a tad bit too much. it's
bolder than the rest of the wall. [i hope that made sense ]
maybe you can try blending it into the background more so as to not let the
title be te fist thing the eye notices.
i know that my comments don't really seem to make much sense, but i'd be glad to
clarify things if you're interested. ^^
now, onto another wall. ><
i was finally able to witness the end result of what i was presented with awhile
ago, and let me say it turned out well. ^^ from what i can tell you went ahead
and revamped the shadowing as well as the other tidbits i pointed out. ><
[ i'm such a picky sob. ,_, ] i am clueless as to what else to say; seeing as
misa took the words out of my mouth. ._. it is undoubtably a favorite though,
and i can't wait to see more like it. keep it shira. :]
nice, another submission from you guys, i would give credit but i don't know who
did it.
anywho, the end result turned out pretty good. i love the whole dark and magical
feeling this wall portrays, and that sky looks awesome. one think though, it may
just be me, but the moon seems to be lopsided. <!-- towards the dark spot on
the left of the moons center --> maybe my eyes are just making things up.
oh
well, keep it up. =]
wow jade, this looks really good.
would that happen to be a church in the background. looks romanesque to me.
x.o
the colors look good and so does the scan. the background looks vivid. good luck
on your contest. ^^ +fav
wow, that pendant is gynormous. O_O
nice to see you're still vectoring after the war epidemic. somehow i would of
thought another all vectored wall was out of the question for quite sometime.
the vectors look good terra. keep it up. ^^
wow ray, this turned out to be nicely done.
one hting i'll have to say is that the huge cracks in the wall look a bit
unrealistic.
everyhting else looks great though. ^^
keep it up. =]
wow sput, looks really nice.
i dont know why but when i look at it, i can only recall sin city. x.o
the scan looks great and so does the background. some what reminds me of the
northern lights.
i wonder if shes jacked up to an ipod.
great job on this, keep them coming. ^^
you're all to kind nona. ^^ im sure she'll love this.
it looks really great. the scan looks amazing and same goes for the background.
the extraction
around her head looks a bit rough but it may just be me. ^^
keep it up nona. +fav =]
its nice to be able to fave this wall misa. =]
im glad you actually wanted some of my input on this when you were making it.
though i sounded like a moron, it seems that you knew what i was saying. :]
i'm studying gothic art right now and this looks pretty good. the back ground
looks a bit too vectored i guess you can say. its a nice jobm but it doesnt
really flow with the scans. of course that may just be me.
if you really want to go gothic, assuming you're familiar with the gothic style,
try giving everything more a more flamboyant feel. (dont know if you know what
im talking about) [no plain surfaces]
good job on this one. its simple, but its really elegant. both the texture the
painted look came out really good. at first i thought they were going for each
others throats but i guess not. keep at
it jade. +fav ^^
nicely done jade. the texture used throughout the wall came out really well. you
say this is fanart? wow
th colors flow really well and i like them. i dont know about that fold though.
its a good first start. keep it up jade. ^^ +fav
hope you feel better soon.
great choice of colors. i like pink. dont
mock me. ._. anywho, this came out really nice. everything seems so magical in a
way. i would suggest giving the tree layer somewhat of a clurred effect as you
did with everything in the foreground. it'll make everything flow much better.
you might also want to give the trees a more unique look. ^^ good job though. :]
i dont know who made this one but wow, you really outdid yourself on the
background. it just looks so great. i would have to say you did a fine job on
the extraction but i would say lose the outline on her.
it still looks great. keep it up. ^^
